Cruise on Maligne Lake and enjoy leisure time in Jasper, strolling through the pretty streets and stores, or relaxing at the lodge with its spectacular adventure opportunities.

Day 1Arrive in Calgary

Welcome to Calgary! At 6 pm, meet your traveling companions for a welcome drink. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming Canadian Rockies adventure.

Day 2Calgary–Lake Louise

This morning, enjoy an orientation tour of Calgary before heading to Lake Louise. Take a leisurely GUIDED WALK along the lake and hear about the area’s first settlers, some of the unique characters, and the history of this incredible setting. The rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a canoe excursion, stroll along the lake, or just relax at this historic Canadian resort.

SPECIAL FEATURE: Your hotel tonight is the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Situated in one of the world’s most breathtaking settings, it evokes a sense of timeless beauty, warmth, intimacy, comfort, and Old World charm. The resort affords incredible opportunities for sightseeing, recreation, photography, shopping, and dining.

Day 3Lake Louise–Columbia Icefield–Jasper

Head north on Icefields Parkway to savor stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and glaciers. We’ll stop at Peyto Lake, considered the best view in Canada and among the best in the world. Next, a trip highlight: the Columbia Icefield for a memorable ride on an ICE EXPLORER. Stand on 1,000 feet of ice and come face to face with the glaciers that feed into a Triple Continental Divide. On to JASPER NATIONAL PARK.

Day 4Jasper. Excursion to Maligne Lake

This morning, CRUISE on Maligne Lake. The balance of the day is at leisure, so enjoy your resort. Hollywood greats like Marilyn Monroe, Robert Mitchum, and Bing Crosby were known to play a round of golf on this scenic course—and you can, too. Treat yourself to a spa treatment, or stroll the streets of Jasper with its array of specialty stores.

Day 5Jasper–Yoho National Park–Banff

This morning, we stop at thundering Athabasca Falls before continuing our sightseeing with visits to BANFF and YOHO NATIONAL PARK. See the Natural Bridge spanning Kicking Horse River and Emerald Lake. Arrive in Banff, with the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 6Banff

Enjoy sightseeing with a ride on the BANFF GONDOLA up Sulphur Mountain. Afterward, a scenic drive around Tunnel Mountain—watch for animals like elk and deer and unique landscape features like the Hoodoos and Bow River. Later, take advantage of an optional helicopter flightseeing trip with dramatic aerial views of the Rocky Mountains and Banff or stroll the town’s colorful streets. This evening, enjoy a WINE TASTING, followed by a HISTORIC TOUR of your hotel. Then, your Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner, the perfect finale for your vacation!

Day 7Banff–Calgary

Your journey comes to a close today as you arrive at Calgary International Airport for your flight home. Flights should be scheduled after 1 pm.

Booking your Vacation with Air For air departure dates within 331 days, you’ll be offered a choice of carriers and flight schedules as well as price points to choose from when selecting your flights. Your schedule will be provided to you at the time of booking (schedules are subject to change by carriers). The tour company offers 2 air options: Flex Air and Instant Purchase Air. Flex Air allows flexibility if you want to make changes to your vacation schedule. Instant Purchase Air may offer additional airline options but has more restrictions. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. Guaranteed air-inclusive prices: air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation. An additional $300 per person non-refundable air deposit is required for Flex Air booked in conjunction with any land vacation (i.e. air-inclusive vacation). Air can only be booked by the tour company in conjunction with a vacation package. Instant Purchase Air requires air payment in full at time of booking (i.e. air-inclusive vacation) plus non-refundable service fee ($30 per person for North America, $50 per person for International air). Once booked, Instant Purchase Air is non-refundable, and non-changeable. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. However, once your airfare is confirmed and the tour company has received your full air and land deposit, your air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed.
Air-Inclusive Vacations — Applicable Taxes & Fees Air inclusive price quotes will include all government-imposed taxes and fees applicable at the time of booking and will be shown as a Total Amount. Additional airline fees for baggage may apply. The total airfare price, the base airfare price, and the applicable government taxes and fees are broken-out line-by-line and shown while booking online and on the invoice after your travel is booked. return travel from some countries, international travelers are required to pay entry and/or exit fees at the airport.
